Default spring rates:
441/441+ Standard /Drift Spec/Pro Long Stroke: 7k/6k
441/441+ Heavy Motor Standard/Drift Spec/Pro Long Stroke: 12k/6k
The 441 kit for the FRS/BRZ/GT86 was initially specifically developed for SCCA national level auto cross racing. The standard 441 kit is a very comfortable, plush ride yet is confidence inspiring allowing the driver to take full advantage of the 50/50 weight distribution and light weight GT86/BRZ chassis. For the more track-oriented driver Feal also offers a Road Race spec 441+ kit, which includes custom spring rates and valving calculated based on your exact setup, offering the maximum grip available.
Feal 44x lines are used worldwide for top level Drifting (Formula Drift, Drift Masters GP, Russian Drift Series, etc.), Time Attack (NASA, SCCA, GTA, Gridlife, etc.), and Drag Racing, and they have the technical knowledge and expertise to build a kit to meet virtually any customer’s exact needs.
Feal Suspension offers multiple configurations to meet your setup needs. KA, SR, CA, and Aluminum LS motors spec kits come with an 8k front spring rate, and heavier motors like JZ, RB, or Iron Block V8s spec kits include 12k front springs with increased valving damping to match.
Each shock is designed with expertise from Feal's success in many top-level international motorsports and through years of experience tuning various shock brands. Feal Suspension strongly believes that their coilovers have an edge on shock design that will give you confidence and a competitive advantage where it's needed most.
441 - Damping adjustability that adjusts Rebound and Compression in one knob. Very easy to tune vehicle firmness, dive, and roll.
442 - Separate damping adjustability for Rebound and Compression. Rebound adjustability does not change compression force so that you can fine tune the roll and rate of weight transfer. The huge range of compression adjustability is independent of rebound force. The compression adjustability will allow you to adjust for more or less traction and more or less suspension movement on the compression stroke.
443 - All of the above plus separate damping adjustability for High Speed Compression, Low Speed Compression, and Rebound. Low speed compression damping adjustability allows you to fine tune chassis movement on the compression stroke over round bumps and/or throttle and braking inputs. High speed compression adjustability allows you to fine tune bottoming resistance and wheel movement on the compression stroke over rumble strips and square edge bumps.
